sous chef/lead line cook position
We are seeking a full-time experienced Sous Chef/Lead Line Cook capable of working in a fast-paced environment while executing high-quality, carefully-crafted, European-Inspired brunch, lunch and brick oven pizza.
The candidate should be someone reliable and dependable. We are seeking an experienced individual looking for a long-term position
Duties include but are not limited to:
Supporting the Executive Chef in leading a team of culinary professionals that deliver high-quality, great-tasting food
Participating in daily responsibilities to ensure the efficiency of a successful kitchen including, prep, line cooking, expediting, receiving, maintenance, cleaning, inventory and organization
Ensuring proper food safety and sanitation procedures
Building top-line sales and guest count through the delivery of a competitively superior team member and guest experience
Assist the Executive Chef to ensure menu items are executed excellently in the restaurant
Supports managing quality in all aspects of their job
Job Requirements:
Proven success as a Lead Line Cook, Executive Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager in a high-volume upscale restaurant or high-end resort restaurant
Strong passion for culinary excellence and service
Proven ability to develop team
Knowledge of systems, methods, and processes that contribute to excellent execution
Stable job history which demonstrates upward career progression
Servesafe Certification
Potential candidates can expect 38-45 hours per week.
