sous chef/lead line cook position

We are seeking a full-time experienced Sous Chef/Lead Line Cook capable of working in a fast-paced environment while executing high-quality, carefully-crafted, European-Inspired brunch, lunch and brick oven pizza.

The candidate should be someone reliable and dependable. We are seeking an experienced individual looking for a long-term position

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the Executive Chef in leading a team of culinary professionals that deliver high-quality, great-tasting food

  • Participating in daily responsibilities to ensure the efficiency of a successful kitchen including, prep, line cooking, expediting, receiving, maintenance, cleaning, inventory and organization

  • Ensuring proper food safety and sanitation procedures

  • Building top-line sales and guest count through the delivery of a competitively superior team member and guest experience

  • Assist the Executive Chef to ensure menu items are executed excellently in the restaurant

  • Supports managing quality in all aspects of their job

Job Requirements:

  • Proven success as a Lead Line Cook, Executive Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager in a high-volume upscale restaurant or high-end resort restaurant

  • Strong passion for culinary excellence and service

  • Proven ability to develop team

  • Knowledge of systems, methods, and processes that contribute to excellent execution

  • Stable job history which demonstrates upward career progression

  • Servesafe Certification

Potential candidates can expect 38-45 hours per week.
